SEO: Going Back to School
Posted on Sep 10, 2012 by Valerie Touchstone
Keeping up with changes in tools and technology is a fun, if sometimes daunting, task. We all spend a good bit of time reading online articles, checking out product reviews, chatting with people who are experts in their fields, and researching out the best new marketing tool to keep ourselves and therefore our clients, up to date and at least with – if not ahead of – the curve.
One excellent resource we use is our pro subscription to MarketingProfs.com. With webinars, white papers, resources and the new MarketingProfs University, it’s easy learn about new ideas balanced with conversation about which new tools are really worth implementing. In other words, what is just new Vs what will actually deliver results.
This week, we start MarketingProfs University’s Search Marketing School – we’ll learn the newest techniques to navigate the search engine waters. The field of search marketing is constantly changing – what worked great a year or even 6 months ago, may not be the best or only tool today. I’m really looking forward this 10-course workshop! Due the quality of the materials and instructors, who are from top companies in the SEO marketing arena, like Google, Distilled, TMG Custom Media, WordStream, and High Rankings, I know The Big Picture team will come away armed with new knowledge that we can put to work right away!
